The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) has issued a press release warning of Brexit and the effects that a possible departure of the UK from the EU, in the referendum on June 23, will have on Cyprus.
“Any withdrawal of the UK from the European Union will not be in the interests of Cyprus”, CCCI said.
“The UK is the second largest trading partner of Cyprus and a Brexit would have adverse effects on trade between the two countries, especially if the UK did not succeed in reaching a good trade agreement with the European Union.”
