Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades has pledged that Cyprus will remain a reliable partner to Russia and has expressed his gratitude for the principled position the country has held on the Cyprus problem and the vote of confidence the Russian people and businesses have given Cyprus particularly in the past three years.
He was addressing on Saturday evening the official opening ceremony of the 11th Cyprus – Russian Festival, the Cyprus News Agency reports.
