Outstanding balance of total loans in the Cypriot banking system has registered a drop of €3.9 billion in June compared with the previous month, mainly impacted by the supervisory approval of a sale of a non-performing loan portfolio by Bank of Cyprus amounting to 2.8 billion, the Cyprus News Agency reports.
