Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Christodoulides told the UN Secretary-General António Guterres that the President of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades, is ready to resume talks for a Cyprus settlement. During a meeting in Rome on Thursday 15 March, on the sidelines of the Ministerial meeting for UNRWA, Christodoulides also raised the issue of Turkey’s actions in the Eastern Mediterranean.
