Hellenic Bank has addressed local speculation that it may be in the process of selling its insurance companies, affirming that the rumors to this effect are false.
In a statement posted on the bank’s website, it clarifies: “In relation to publications in the media and speculations in the market, Hellenic Bank Public Company confirms that there is no ongoing process for the sale of any part of the whole of the share capital it holds in Pancyprian Insurance Ltd and Hellenic Alico Life Insurance Company Ltd.”
