President Nicos Anastasiades is set to participate in a variety of meetings held throughout Europe in the coming days, to discuss issues such as migration, climate change and sustainable development.
The President will travel to Valeta, Malta on Thrusday to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), which will take place between November 27 and 28.
On the sidelines of the Conference, Anastasiades – who will be accompanied by Foreign Affairs Minister Ioannis Kasoulides and Government Spokesman Nikos Christodoulides – will hold bilateral meetings with leaders of member states of the Commonwealth.
following the conclusion of the meeting, on November 29, Anastasiades, will travel to Brussels to participate in the meeting of the Heads of State or Government of the EU with Turkey, on the migration crisis.
The President will then go to Paris to participate in the 21st Session (COP21) of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
He is expected to return to Cyprus on December 1.
