Marios Skandalis has been elected the new Director General of the Association of Cyprus Banks.
He succeeds Michalis Kammas, who is retiring.
As InBusinessNews has been informed, the board of directors of the Association decided to offer the position of Director General to Marios Skandalis, Director, Group Compliance Division, Bank of Cyprus since 2014.
It is noted that Skandalis is also Chairman of the Cyprus Integrity Forum (CIF), while he has also served as President of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC).
It is worth mentioning that, in addition to Skandalis, the position of Director General of the Association of Cyprus Banks was also contested by Kyriakos Iordanou, Michael Kronides and Υiannos Koukoularidεs.
