The Entertainer to Launch Concessions in Cyprus

Having won awards as Toy Retailer of the Year and Online Toy Retailer of the Year overseas, The Entertainer is poised to launch concessions in Cyprus next month via a franchise partnership with Ermes Group, which operates Debenhams.
A press release from the company says: “The Entertainer, the fastest-growing high street toy retailer in the UK, today confirms it will be opening its first European stores next month in Cyprus in a franchise partnership with Ermes Group, which is the country’s largest and most diversified retailer”.
According to the announcement, The Entertainer branded toy shops will initially be launching in November within Ermes’ own Debenhams stores in Larnaca, Limassol and Nicosia.
“Each store will provide the usual variety of choice and price points for families who are out toy shopping. Children stepping into any of The Entertainer’s first three stores will be transported into a world of wonder, surrounded by all their favourite toys plus friendly and trained staff who are always on hand to help guide families around and advise on any purchase enquiries,” the announcement adds.
At each of the Grand Openings, the dates and times of which will be announced at a later date, there will be balloon modelling, face painting and costume character appearances, InCyprus reports.
“In line with The Entertainer’s store initiatives there will also be seasonal promotions and product demonstrations, along with plenty of fun in-store demos of the latest toys and gift card competitions,” the announcement adds.

The Entertainer was founded in 1981 by husband and wife team, Gary and Catherine Grant. It has more than 127 stores in the UK and six international stores.
